Food is important! At Calico Jack’s our motto is Eat local and Eat well. Eating well involves what we eat and when we eat. The specific requirements for eating well vary across individuals and body types. However, eating fresh ingredients, hormone and pesticide free, we believe is the key to good health. This philosophy drives the concept for our Crossroads Restaurant. We are best known for our local, vegan and paleo dishes prepared using fresh fruits, herbs and vegetables and lean cuts of meat.
We prepare our food “from scratch” using fruits including superfruits, herbs, vegetables and roots that we grow here on our small farm. Because of this we ask for your dinner order no later than 2 pm each day. Guests describe our food as savory and spicy. We are flexible so please consult with us concerning variations of menu items and seasoning. For instance, we can make any type of omelet, frittata or curry.
Our breakfast menu offers you traditional and more exotic options if you want to go beyond the continental breakfast option. Reservations are required for dinner as we prepare meals “from scratch”. We ask that you book your reservation with us no later than 2pm as we use fresh produce and prepare the meals that day.
